I like Ryuko for her personality and her peak character design with that 2000s emo-goth aesthetic. But Aoshika is just hotter. As always, older women are better than girls.

I’d like to see, in a hypothetical anime, Inugami (the protagonist) and Aoshika (his schoolteacher and love interest) at least share a kiss and have one or more sex scenes. This manga is actually a 2007 “reboot” of a manga of the same name from the 1970s. I haven’t been able to read the original version, but I know that neither the original nor the new version contains a single scene of a passionate kiss or sex between them.

Which is a disappointment. Did fans of the original work wait 37 years only to find that, once again, there’s no romantic sex between them? What a waste.

It’s a manga I like and would love to see adapted into an anime. But I wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone. It’s basically a very edgy story full of violence, sex, and rape scenes so explicit they look like scenes taken from a porn movie.
Only read it if you’re into that sort of thing.
