Description
A 17-year-old teenager was shot in front of an educational facility in the Primavera 2 citadel of the Durán canton, on the morning of this Monday, June 3.
The crime occurred around 07:00. According to preliminary information, the young man had gone to the place to drop off a relative of his at the private school.
However, when he was leaving the scene, armed individuals approached to shoot him five times and end his life.
It is presumed that the criminals, who were traveling on a motorcycle, followed him. Relatives of the deceased were shocked by this murder.
So far in 2024, Zone 8, composed of Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón, exceeds 840 violent deaths.
