: We do not have any other channels or groups on any platform.COLOMBO : A 25- year old youth was killed in a shooting incident at the Negombo catchment fish market on Saturday morning on Aug 12.
At 9.15 am on Saturday, an unknown person came to Pitipana Fish Market and shot the cashier in the head with a handgun and fled from the scene.
He was seriously injured and taken to Negombo District General Hospital, where he died on admission to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
The deceased was Naitapulage Dhanushka Anjana Umayanga Feranando from Pitipana North, Negombo.
Further investigations are being conducted under the leadership of Tungalpitiya Police Station OIC.
