At about 1 am on May 12, two trucks and a taxi collided at 69 km of the Moscow Ring Road.

The taxi flew into the truck at full speed, and the impact literally folded the car like a tin can. As the press service of the Moscow Territorial Scientific and Practical Center for Disaster Medicine explains, a medical helicopter flew to the scene of the accident to provide assistance to one of the victims. The man suffered cardiac arrest and was resuscitated on board.

“During transportation, specialists carried out resuscitation measures, necessary drug therapy, support of the patient's vital functions and multimodal monitoring,” the doctors said.

The second victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Doctors are fighting for their lives. [Note: He later died.]
