Nam Dinh: Cars caused multiple accidents, many people were injured
A Camry car drove quickly on Dien Bien Street, Nam Dinh City (Nam Dinh), causing a series of accidents to other vehicles, injuring many people.
It is known that the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on April 9, at Dien Bien Street (Nam Dinh City, Nam Dinh Province).
At this time, a man driving a black Camry car with license plate number 30E-659.xx moving on Dien Bien Street suddenly collided with an electric bicycle moving in the same direction.
After causing the accident, the car showed no signs of slowing down, collided with a Vinfast car, a Honda motorbike and a Toyota car before stopping when it crashed into a house along the road.
The accident scene stretched hundreds of meters, strewn with damaged vehicles and scattered pieces of car and motorbike debris.
According to witnesses, the driver who caused the accident was a middle-aged man. When the car that caused the accident stopped, people opened the car door and saw that the airbag in the driver's seat had deployed, and the driver showed signs of panic.
The scene of the accident showed that the Camry causing the accident completely deformed its head; Toyota car's front was damaged; Electric bicycles and motorbikes are deformed and severely damaged.
Four people injured in the accident were taken to a medical facility. The identities of the injured have not yet been identified.
Currently, the police force is present to block off the scene, regulate traffic, and take statements from witnesses and related people to serve the investigation.
