They capture a knife attack on a woman in the heart of Valparaíso: she was stabbed multiple times

The incident is being investigated to clarify the motivations for this attack.

A woman, for unknown reasons, was stabbed several times outside a central supermarket in Valparaíso.

The incident, which was recorded by passers-by, occurred this morning at the intersection of Bellavista and Brasil streets.

The video, which lasts just over 1 minute, shows how a woman gets into an argument with another, while people who were there watched.

Then, in the middle of the argument, one of those involved takes a knife and stabs it at the victim at least six times.

It was towards the end of the irrational attack when a man intervened to separate her from the victim, who fell to the floor.

Captain Diego Orellana, commissioner(s) of the Second Central Police Station of Valparaíso, indicated that after receiving the call, they went to the scene and arrested the perpetrator of the events.

Likewise, the uniformed officer maintained that the victim was taken to the city hospital to verify injuries.
