Man kills himself in the center of Burgos after arguing with ex-partner

According to the newspaper ABC, after the argument, the man threw himself on a bag full of gasoline and set himself on fire.
The incident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. in mainland Portugal) this Wednesday, on Avenida del Cid, in the city center.
A shopkeeper put out the flames with a fire extinguisher, but the victim's serious injuries eventually led to his death.
The actions of the emergency services, says ABC, only allowed him to be kept alive for a few moments.
Elements of the Local Police and the Scientific Police of the Provincial Station attended the scene.
The case is being investigated by the authorities.
