Santa Anita is once again the scene of violence. A transport businessman was cruelly murdered in the street and in broad daylight when he tried to flee from his captors.

Minutes before, the businessman identified as Macchiavelli Laura Lume was kidnapped in Salamanca and taken by his captors to block six of Sol de Oro Street, in Santa Anita.

Security cameras on the street recorded the moment when the black vehicle carrying Laura Lume and her captors parked. Three tall men and the businessman, dressed in a black polo shirt and cap, got out of the vehicle.

At that moment, Laura Lume tries to run away, but one of the captors shoots him several times, leaving him seriously wounded in the street.

After the crime, the criminals fled while members of the Serenazgo of Santa Anita helped Laura Lume and took him to a hospital, but he did not survive due to the seriousness of his wounds.

According to the first investigations, the kidnappers, presumably foreigners, intended to hold the businessman in a six-story building on Sol de Oro street and charge a ransom.

National Police officers arrived at the scene and found evidence of the criminal activity on the top floor of the building. The police arrested four people, including a woman, who were allegedly involved in the kidnapping.
