Description
Kakapora: A tragic accident has taken place in the Kakapora town of district Pulwama in which a wall has fallen on non-local labourers working at a brick kiln.
Three labourers were killed in the accident after a wall collapsed at a brick kiln in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police sources told that the incident occurred in Ukhoo village.
They said that a wall of a brick kiln collapsed suddenly and three non-local workers/labourers came under it and all the three workers died on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Lukman Khan son of Muhammad Suleman Khan, Raj Dev son of Devinder Kumar and Kalbe Khan son of Nawab Ali, all natives of Uttar Pradesh state.
Police after the incident rushed to the spot and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
The accident has raised questions on the state of infrastructural and workplace safety.
