Man killed with brick to the head in Brazil

A man was arrested Tuesday in connection to a murder in which he killed a man with a brick the head last October in Brazil.
The events took place back on October 13, 2021, in the city of Goiânia in Goiás, according to Brazilian news outlets.
41-year-old José Rodrigues de Sousa was arrested Tuesday following a months-long investigation into a video that showed him striking another man in the head with a brick, knocking the man unconscious on the spot.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital but died shortly after.
Rodrigues de Sousa confessed to the crime following his arrest Tuesday but claims he acted in self-defense.
Another investigation is underway.
