Description
A teacher committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Jehanabad railway station on Wednesday morning. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed on the platform. It is clearly visible in the video that after coming near the train, he jumps, so that there is no hope of survival. It is seen in the footage that after taking three steps in just 6 seconds, the young man jumps in front of the train, in which 3 bogies of the train pass over him.
The teacher was identified as Mahendra Pratap, a resident of Nwan village of Kako block area. He had left the house on Wednesday morning saying that he would go to Patna, but committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train.
At that time the people present at the railway station told that they were standing with us on platform number-2. Were a little nervous, waiting again and again for the arrival of the train. He was repeatedly peeping from the platform and looking at the train. As soon as the train started approaching us on the platform, he immediately jumped in front of the engine. Seeing this, we all started screaming and tried to stop him. But by then he had already gone before the train. Due to which the teacher died after being hit by a train.
As soon as teacher Mahendra Pratap jumped in front of the train, there was chaos on the platform. During this time three bogies of the train passed over the teacher. The driver stopped the train after the people started shouting. When the railway police took out the body of the youth from under the train, it had been broken into three pieces. The head and torso was separated, the arm was also cut off.
After the incident, the family members are in a bad condition. The teacher's family had earlier said that he died after falling from the train. Everyone said that he must have died after falling from the train. But after the CCTV footage, it is clear that he has committed suicide. Now the family is refraining from saying anything in this matter. However, under what circumstances the teacher committed suicide, it is not yet clear.
