A man was shot dead on Friday, the 25th, in Quatipuru, in northeastern Pará, following a conflict that reportedly began with provocations, insults, and threats in a WhatsApp group. The Civil Police are investigating the homicide and have already identified the man alleged to be the shooter.

According to information gathered during the investigation, the dispute started in a WhatsApp group and escalated into a confrontation between the two individuals involved. They reportedly met again later at the Municipal Market, where a fight broke out. Following the altercation, the conflict continued via messages and further threats.

On Friday, the man identified as the aggressor went to the victim's home and opened fire. The victim was rescued and taken to a municipal health center but did not survive his injuries.

After the crime, the perpetrator fled on a red Honda Titan motorcycle. The Military Police conducted searches in the area, while the Civil Police launched an investigation to locate him.

The investigation is also looking into whether a debt collection issue was linked to the conflict. Witnesses are being interviewed, and forensic analyses have been requested to clarify the circumstances of the homicide.
