A young man died after being thrown to the ground during a fight with a ride-share driver on Sunday night in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China. The incident was captured on security cameras and spread rapidly across social media.

The footage shows a middle-aged man, identified as a ride-share driver, arguing with two young men. After an exchange of shoving and taunts, the driver executes a move resembling a judo throw (*seoi nage*) on one of the young men, hurling him backward onto the asphalt. The sound of his head hitting the ground is audible, and the young man remains motionless afterward.

Reportedly, the other young man—who had dyed-blonde hair—also took part in the provocation and even struck the driver in the chest before the incident ended.

A screenshot of an online conversation circulating alongside the videos indicated that the young man had died. However, hours later, other users claimed he had not died and that the parties involved had reached a settlement.
