Okay, actually, there’s some confusion here. I suppose the Tuvan/Kalmyk dude must have used the term “Pedik” (педик), which is derived from “Pederast” (педераст). It’s a homophobic slur that literally means “pedophile” or “pederast,” but in the Russian context, it means “faggot.”

The term comes directly from the Greek word for pederasty; in Ancient Greece, there were relationships between adult men and adolescents, referred to as “pederasty.”
And it eventually evolved to refer derogatorily to gays in general and then as another equivalent of the word “faggot.”
Although I don’t know if it’s used only for men or if women are also a legitimate target for this insult.

Anyway. Now, putting the history lesson aside. I know I’m four years late to the party, but since I recently learned this, I wanted to clarify a few things.

You know what? I wish I’d been born in Russia so I could have been one of those soldiers in the video. Why? If I’d been there... I would have convinced them not to gag the victim! What a missed opportunity to hear a wonderful scream!
Can you imagine what that Georgian would have sounded like? Guys, we just saw only a “watered-down” version of what could have been.
Obviously, I would have also convinced the Russians that it would be a good idea to have two cameras: one to record the video, like this one, and another to focus on the victim’s face, for more pleasure. Including his face after getting shot.

P.S.: I said "Georgian" because, apparently, he wasn’t even a Ukrainian soldier but a Georgian "volunteer."
Can you imagine leaving your country to fight for another—one that isn’t your own—only to die this way, and for everyone to remember you not for your heroism, but for having met such a death? Slow and painful, and, above all, humiliating? Lol, that hurt.
