Peru, Piura - April 10, 2026

A hitman walked up to his victim and, without saying a word, shot her repeatedly until she was dead on one of the streets of the San Felipe neighborhood, near the San Luis Gonzaga school. The crime occurred in broad daylight and caused panic among residents and passersby in the area.

According to witnesses, it was approximately 2:30 p.m. when the attacker, dressed in shorts and walking along the sidewalk without arousing suspicion, approached Minosska de Jesús Pinto Lazo, a young professional specializing in pediatric gastroenterology. The victim was about to enter her apartment, located across from the gate of the educational center, when the man shot her three times in the head and back of the neck.

Security camera footage from a nearby business captured the brutality of the act. After committing the crime, the hitman fled on foot toward the main avenue, as students and parents who were outside the school looked on in shock.

National Police officers arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and notified the Public Prosecutor's Office. After the corresponding procedures, the body was ordered to be removed and taken to the Piura Morgue.

Likewise, a neighbor told Noticias Piura 3.0 that the victim leaves behind an orphaned baby just three months old.
