When a Fairfax County police officer Peter Liu arrived and knocked on her apartment door, Wilson eventually opened it holding a knife and attacked the officer, slicing him with the blade.
The officer fired his gun in self defence, striking Wilson a few times before she collapsed.
She was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
