A man with the initials D (22), a truck driver from Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province, was found dead hanging from a UD Truck CKE 250 parked on the side of the Nagan Raya highway last Thursday evening.

The truck was parked on the national road in front of the Village Mosque, and he was reportedly heading to West Aceh.

The Police immediately conducted a crime scene investigation and took the body to the Regional Hospital for an autopsy.

As of Friday, the case was still under further investigation to determine whether it was a suicide or another cause, including the motive.

Preliminary investigations at the scene indicate that the victim died from hanging using a rope tied to the left inside door handle of the car.

The preliminary suspicion is that the victim died from self hanging. However, police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of death.

According to witness statements, the incident was first discovered after the Village Head received a report from residents and then forwarded it to village officials. They then went to the scene and found the victim deceased.
