NEW YORK — New video shows the assault that took place prior to a sanitation worker getting shot in Manhattan Thursday.
The man was shot once in the leg at around 11:15am in front of 515 West 52nd St. in Hells Kitchen, following a verbal confrontation with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend.
Police sources said a woman who lives in the area was approached by her ex-boyfriend and his twin brother. The woman and her ex began arguing, and then the ex’s twin allegedly assaulted her.
The woman then called her father, an NYC Department of Sanitation worker — and when he arrived at the scene, he was shot in the thigh shortly after getting into a dispute with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend.
The suspects then fled in a black Mercedes belonging to the victim.
The daughter’s ex-boyfriend along with his brother are being sought for questioning, police said.
