Man dies after being struck by a tree trunk while working in Sirinhaém

Description

A man died after being struck by a tree trunk while cutting down vegetation in Boa Vista, Sirinhaém district, Pernambuco. The accident occurred when a piece of the trunk, weighing approximately 50 to 60 kilos, broke off and violently struck his body.

According to reports, the impact was so strong that the wood pierced the victim's chest, passing through to his back and pushing him to the ground. Witnesses who arrived at the scene described the scene as serious.

Rescue teams were called, but there is no information as to whether the victim received medical attention before his death was confirmed.
