A road accident is causing complications for motorists traveling on the Highway to El Salvador this Saturday.
The General Directorate of Road Protection and Safety (Provial) reported that at kilometer 24 a person died after being run over.
The victim has not been identified. No further details are yet known about how the fatal accident occurred.
"The passage to the East is blocked at this location," the institution said.
Due to the incident, there is traffic congestion in both directions of the road, which affects drivers heading east and those seeking to enter the VAS.
