Otto Antônio Francisco de Sales Fernandes, aged 28, was killed this Sunday (22) after having his home invaded by a criminal who shot him in the head, in the living room of his own house, in Parque Mão Santa, East Zone from Teresina.
According to the Military Police (PM), the victim's wife and the couple's young daughter were in the house, inside the bedroom. The companion reported to the PM that she did not hear gunshots, as she was sleeping. She only found out what happened when she left her room in the morning and found her husband dead in the living room.
Otto was suspected of murder against Matheus Elias Araújo da Silva, stabbed to death on October 12, 2017. He was still free and the case hearing was scheduled for June 2025.
The victim's companion was also taken to the Central de Flagrantes for culpable reception. She was in possession of a theft-restricted cell phone.
The PM, the Civil Police (PC) and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) were at the scene and carried out the appropriate procedures. The case is investigated ..
