This footage was taken the other day in Portland, Oregon.
The streets are intense today and tension is in the air. The homeless told photojournalist that several people died in just the last 24 hours which is probably why tensions are so high.
The reporters met several new people that are brand new Portland, Oregon. They were clearly sent here on one way bus tickets. Some of them just walk up to people on the street and ask if they have any drugs. There appears to be a shortage which is creating this desperation which often times leads to violence ..
