This video was uploaded by 25-year-old Minelys Zoe Rodriguez-Ramirez on October 22, the day she disappeared. She was last seen at a Walmart in Georgia.
She had been texting her fiancé, Julio Tovor, as he went to sleep. When he woke up, he realized Minelys hadn’t returned.
Her last message to him felt strange: "I am waiting for the brother to pick him up." “It didn’t make sense," Tovor said. "She doesn’t talk like that."
On October 28, authorities in Atlanta arrested 24-year-old Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanches, charging him with kidnapping in connection to her disappearance.
The following day, remains believed to be those of Rodriguez-Ramirez were found near Furniture Drive, close to the Walmart. Rivera-Sanches now faces additional charges of murder.
