Excuse me if quoting you resembles what BrownShitSkinNigger loves to do, but I have a genuine question. How is an unsafe open border help the people of the US? I'm sure there's decent honest people coming here to work, but at the same time we have thousands coming in just to leach off of the social system. Also, to take advantage of our weak criminal laws, emboldened to steal and get away with it, and do much worse.

Our drinking water is filtered to keep unwanted impurities out, the same process needs to be applied at our border. People must be vetted, go through a history check, determine whether they qualify or not to cross. Old school basic common sense IMO.

I've heard your argument before, it always goes back to that border bill "blocked by Trump". Fine, that's what he did for argument sake. But that bill thing was a few months ago, the created chaos was done long before, Immediately after Biden entered office. Thousands of people wearing Biden shirts flocked from all over the world and flooded through illegal points of entry, border patrol was federally restrained from detaining them.

From the few paragraphs I've read regarding that bill, it's aim was to flow people in faster. Via more border patrol officers as direction for migrants (not arrest or deport), more judges to rule in the migrants favor, protection and grant shelter in México/US Texas border (not rule on a case by case to determine qualified status). This has been spun so dishonestly, only way to really know the true intentions behind it all is to do a little research and reading. That's it.

You say the Republican party of years ago no longer exists? The exact same thing applies for Democrats, you would agree? I was a registered Democrat for all my voting life. Clinton, Gore, Obama, no vote 2016, Trump. The issue I've come across is the media sources informing us. Are they doing just that or are they doing a bit more than they're supposed to? Reporting events with missing context is suspicious to say the least, what's the motive for that? Its a rhetorical question, I think we know why. Independent journalism has unmasked much of this bias, they show us that the emperor really ISN'T wearing anything unlike previously reported. They're chastised or unplugged soon after, no more freedom of the press?

Both sides claim the same, "we're voting for the lesser of two evils".
My follow up question is, what is evil for YOU? The answer varies from person to person. I guess it depends on your principles and values, spiritual faith or agnostic views. The craziest thing about it is, both camps are infected with confirmation bias. No matter what any new evidence is presented, they've cemented themselves into not changing their position on anything no matter what! THAT IS INSANE...
