New video shows the moment an arsonist accidentally set himself on fire while trying to burn down a school in China.
The incident took place on December 31 in Youhan village in Guangxi, according to local reports.
Video shows the suspect dousing the front of the school with a flammable liquid before setting it ablaze. But as the flames quickly start spreading, the man’s limbs catch fire.
The man was arrested by police who took him to the hospital for second-degree burns on to his forearms, calves and hands.
No one at the school or throughout the incident was injured besides the culprit.
