On the evening of August 5, a leader of the People's Committee of Bac Ha district (Lao Cai) said that a murder case had just occurred in Ta Chai commune, Bac Ha district, resulting in one death.
Specifically, at around 4:30 p.m. the same day, at the house of Mr. Bui Van C (born in 1966, residing in Na Kim village, Ta Chai commune), near Bac Ha vegetable farm, Mr. Bui Manh C (born in 1994) used a knife to repeatedly slash his wife named H (born in 1997), causing the victim to be injured and collapse on the spot. Not stopping there, after going into the house, the husband returned to continue using a knife to attack and then dragged the victim into the house to continue the above act.
