On the evening of July 15, the police departmentsHCMCis coordinating with District 12 Police to investigate the murder case that left 2 people dead at Phuc Long Coffee & Tea shop, located on Le Van Khuong Street, Thoi An Ward.
According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. on July 15, many customers sitting at the aforementioned Phuc Long Coffee & Tea shop were shocked to witness a man about 40 years old, holding a knife, storming into the shop.
The man argued loudly with a woman in the bar, then swung a knife and attacked her, stabbing her multiple times in the chest, causing her to collapse on the spot.
The man then stabbed himself and collapsed, lying next to the woman.
The incident lasted about a minute, causing many people in the restaurant to panic and run outside.
After receiving the news, the police force quickly arrived, sealed off the scene for investigation. At 9:30 p.m., the bodies of the two people were removed from the scene for autopsy.
According to witnesses, the couple went to the Phuc Long Coffee & Tea shop upstairs to drink water. While sitting there, the two got into an argument. The man left for a while and then came back to cause the incident.
