A woman who saw her friend being electrocuted tried to help him but was caught in the current and fell next to her friend.
The two friends, who were pulled out of the puddle with the help of people around, were given first aid by citizens at the scene.
The two people who were later taken to Alsancak State Hospital and Tepecik Training and Research Hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams could not be saved.
While police teams took security measures at the scene, electricity company officials also conducted investigations.
