A woman is dead after a shovel fell off an 11-story building in Bangladesh, landing straight on the woman’s head and knocking her to the ground, newly released surveillance video shows.
The freak accident took place early Wednesday morning in the village of Mission Para in Narayanganj, local sources said.
Footage shows the victim walking on a crowded sidewalk near a building under construction — when a shovel suddenly falls from the sky and bashes her on the head.
The victim bled profusely and was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
