Initially it was reported that a KamAZ truck hit and killed a child. The next day, June 9, a video of the fatal accident appeared online . The video is not recommended for viewing by persons under 18 years of age and people with weak mental health.
Today the details of the terrible accident have become known. The police found out that a 58-year-old KamAZ truck driver hit an 11-year-old cyclist who was moving in the same direction along the right edge of the road: when turning, the girl lost control and fell under the wheels of the truck. This happened around 12:30. The driver was sober at the time of the accident.
As a result of the accident, the cyclist died at the scene of the accident before the ambulance arrived.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened for violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, which negligently resulted in the death of a person.
