A woman, identified only as Cintia , was hit by a Yipeta while trying to cross the highway.
The incident, which took place around 10:55 pm, resulted in the loss of Cintia's life due to the severity of her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, fearing for his safety due to possible aggression from the crowd present at the scene of the accident, went with a motorcycle rider to the detachment to surrender .
The mayor of Guayacanes issued a note of condolence for the loss of Cintia . The mayor, Noel Cedeño, expressed his regret for the tragedy:
