Description
The seconds of an accident involving a four-wheeled vehicle and a motorcycle on the Padang-Bukittinggi alternative road in Malalak were recorded by the car's dashcam.
The video shows that the motorcycle left its lane and hit the car. The accident occurred at the location of the uphill bend on Saturday (13/4/2024) at around 1:16 pm.
Based on the car dashcam footage obtained by Sumbarkita, initially the car was traveling at a moderate speed in the left lane. Not long after, a motorcycle suddenly appeared and immediately hit the car. It is suspected that the motorcycle lost control.
The motorcyclist and pillion rider immediately bounced when they hit the car.
Another video uploaded by Facebook account Every Andi shows the scene immediately after the accident. Three people were seen lying on the side of the road.
"Just now there was an accident on the via malalak bukittinggi road between a motorcyclist and a four-wheeled rider," Every Andi captioned his post.
He explained that the two vehicles were involved in a goat fight from opposite directions.
"It is estimated that a mother motorcyclist died on the spot and two children suffered severe injuries. It is hoped that colleagues will be careful traveling," he added.
The condition of the three victims is not yet known. When this information was submitted, Sumbarkita was still gathering further information from the authorities.
