A 26-year-old photographer lost his life on March 11 after being stabbed by his girlfriend, also 26, who works as a part-time model in Bandar Rimbayu, Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. According to authorities, the incident was motivated by the young woman's jealousy.



Kuala Langat Police Chief Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan said they received a report from Cyberjaya Hospital, notifying that a patient had been admitted in an unconscious state. Unfortunately, the young photographer was pronounced dead at 7:25 am, suffering from stab wounds to his left wrist and leg.



Ahmad Ridhwan revealed that the deceased's girlfriend was arrested near Cyberjaya Hospital at 12:30 pm on March 12. The woman, who works as a part-time model, was arrested by a team from the district's Criminal Investigation Division.



"Despite being a part-time model with no criminal record, the young woman was arrested and remanded for six days to be investigated for murder," Ahmad Ridhwan added.
