District Police Office Kailali has informed that 53-year-old Santosh Aggarwal, the owner of Sandeep Store at Dhangadhi Bus Park, jumped from the 5th floor of his house. Agarwal, who was injured after jumping at around 11:20 am on Wednesday, was taken to Navjeevan Hospital for immediate treatment.
Kailali police spokesperson DSP Kuldeep Chand said Agarwal died during treatment.
The scene of Agarwal jumping was also filmed by local residents. When he was about to commit suicide by falling down from the roof railing, he was asked from below not to do so.
Agarwal, who runs a jewelry business, has a wife and two sons.
