An unfortunate incident occurred on the night of Wednesday, December 13 on the boulevard of the Simon Bolivar neighborhood after the victory of Junior de Barranquilla and the collective euphoria of the residents of this area of the city.
At about 11:15 p.m., a young man identified as Nicolás José Ferrer Morales, 26 years old, was killed when he was run over by a heavy vehicle when, apparently, trying to cross the busy avenue without caution.
Witnesses said that the young man was celebrating with other people and tried to cross to the other side of 19th Street and Carrera 6B when he was hit. His death was instantaneous.
