A cyclist died after losing his balance while trying to avoid a school bus and being crushed by the vehicle in the city of São Desidério, in western Bahia state. The school bus was transporting children home when the accident happened. CCTV images showed the cyclist, identified as 54-year-old José da Hora, lose his balance when he hit a pick-up truck before falling under the bus wheels. The bus driver fled the scene.
