Neighbors discovered the body after smelling a bad smell coming from the apartment located on Rua Carauari
A charred body, thought to be that of a man, was found on Monday night (27), in a studio apartment on Rua Carauari, Redenção neighborhood, Central-West zone of Manaus.
The corpse was discovered by neighbors. They told the police that they smelled a bad smell coming from the apartment and, when they checked what it was, they discovered the charred body in the bedroom.
According to neighbors, a man lived in the room, whose identity was not revealed. The body was removed by the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
The case will be investigated by the Civil Police, by the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Police Station (DEHS).
