The Prosecutor's Office of the Novosibirsk District approved an indictment against a 59-year-old local resident on the fact of violation of traffic rules that caused the death of a person by negligence. The driver was in a state of alcohol intoxication and left the scene of the accident.
According to investigators, in the village of Kamenka on September 13, 2023 at about 21:00 drunken figure on the car "Mitsubishi Outlander" was driving on the street Kamenskaya. At that moment, a 62-year-old woman was walking along the left edge of the roadway with her back to the car. The driver hit the Siberian woman and fled the scene of the tragedy. The victim died on the spot from her injuries.
The driver pleaded guilty in full. The criminal case was sent to the Novosibirsk district court.
