A tragic event has shocked Callao , where a lawyer lost his life at the hands of a hitman while leaving his workplace. The victim has been identified as Julio Elvis Tupia Rua , who was on Canta Callao Avenue in the company of friends. At that moment, an individual with a black hood and white shorts approached, pulled out a firearm and shot directly at Tupia Rua's body before fleeing.
The attack occurred in the middle of a public road, leaving the victim lying on the sidewalk while his friends tried to get to safety. Despite being transported to a health center alive, unfortunately Julio Elvis Tupia Rua died on the way.
The first investigations suggest that this tragic event could be related to the lawyer's refusal to pay an alleged extortionate fee.
