I take public transportation myself. When my vehicle was in the shop a few years back, I had to take the light rail and train. I got to work so much faster! Driving does suck, especially in the city. I ended up selling my car because I was never using it anymore. If I leave the city I will get another, for sure. It is nice not having to deal with insurance and CA gas prices, though. I live in a major US city and we have delivery robots. They haven't been broken into as to my knowledge. I don't think they deliver anything of real value with those robots. Especially not 7-11 lol.
