Description
One man was shot dead in Aranguez yesterday afternoon while at his place of work, authorities said.
The incident took place around 1:45 pm along the Aranguez Main Road.
The victim, who has been identified as Keston Alves, was at work at Threads International clothing store when a man dressed in black entered.
The suspect opened fire on Alves before fleeing the scene.
Persons in the store notified the police and emergency health services and a team of officers led by Snr Sup Singh, Sup Singh, ASP Victor, and W-Insp Sylvester, responded.
Alves died at the scene.
Officials said 18 spent 9mm shells were recovered by crime scene investigators.
