A 26-year-old man was shot in the face early this Saturday (24) in the Campo Alegre neighborhood, in Itatiaia (RJ) .
According to the Civil Police, the crime happened after a confusion between the author of the shots and another person inside a bar, located on Avenida Simão da Cunha Gago. The victim would have "bought" the fight and ended up dead.
Images from a security camera show the moment when a group of people leave the establishment, including the shooter, and go to the street.
In the video, you can see that the man approaches his car and then returns to the middle of the street and shoots the victim. Afterwards, he gets into the vehicle and runs away.
The image still shows the arrival of a Military Police vehicle shortly after the killer fled. The police went after him, but could not find him.
The shot was rescued by an ambulance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), but arrived dead at Itatiaia Hospital.
Police looking for killer
Civil Police reported that the author of the shots was quickly identified. In testimony, the wife said that he did not return home, but told her that he would look for a lawyer to turn himself in at the police station. He is being sought.
