From the Pedro Juan Caballero Regional Hospital, they confirm the death of Selva Soledad Morales Fernández, 23, who was injured in an attack on Tuesday night in the San Gerardo neighborhood of this city.

Selva Soledad, was shot during the night of this Tuesday (24) in the San Gerardo neighborhood. The victim was helped by relatives to the Regional Hospital, but she did not resist the wound received on her face and she died.

The attack occurred on Primero de Diciembre street, between Juan de Ayolas and Juan Emilio Oleary in the San Gerardo neighborhood.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old Selva Soledad Morales Fernández, who was assisted at the Regional Hospital.

According to the first information provided by Commissioner Abel Cantero, deputy head of the Investigations Department, the young woman reportedly had been shot in the face that caused her death.

Cantero added that they are carrying out the rigorous procedures in the home of the affected person where the shots against her physical integrity occurred. At the same time, the data of the alleged perpetrators and the background of this homicide are unknown.
