Manaus (AM) – Security cameras captured, on the morning of this Thursday (29), the moment of the execution of a man identified only as “Pezão” . He was a detainee of the semi-open prison system of Amazonas and was shot dead. The incident took place on Rua dos Paturís, in the Cidade de Deus neighborhood, in the North Zone of the capital.
In the images, it is possible to observe that two individuals arrive on a motorcycle and approach the victim.
The victim ends up falling to the ground and the suspect still approaches to "finish" the crime, firing more firearm shots. Then the two individuals flee on the motorcycle.
Residents of the place heard several gunshots and people, when leaving their homes to check what had happened, came across the man's body thrown to the ground.
Witnesses reported that the murdered man lived in the area and had a habit of committing robberies in the region. In addition, the information reveals that he was a drug user.
The Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Police Station (DEHS) investigates the case and the images should help teams identify and punish the perpetrators.
