A crocodile named “Hannibal” attacked a handler at Crocodile Creek Farm
In one horrifying incident, a 16-foot crocodile attacked a wildlife park worker in South Africa, who survived. According to a Facebook post from the Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation, the 1,400-pound animal attacked zookeeper Sean Le Clus as he sat on the back of a crocodile in front of a group of tourists. The incident happened on Sept. 10 at Crocodile Creek Farm in KwaZulu Natal province, the Post said.
Mr. Clus was with him in a pit with two beasts in the middle of a performance when a Nile crocodile named “Hannibal” suddenly attacked. The handler has cared for Hannibal for over 30 years, the Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation reported. The video has gone viral on the internet, in which Mr. Clus walks around the crocodiles before sitting on Hannibal. It was first posted to Facebook by the Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation.
