Police investigators are looking into a possible love triangle as the motive for
the killing of three individuals in a shooting incident in Taguig City over the weekend.

According to Taguig Police Acting Chief P/Col. Robert Baesa, the suspect — identified
as Julian Paningbatan Jr. — was seen on CCTV with one of the victims, Marie Angelica Belina,
before the incident.
"This is a case of a love triangle... that's what we see happening here,"
he said in Jamie Santos' report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday.
"The gunman is with them, an acquaintance of theirs. Well in fact, the two are
friends and have been with Marie Angelica Belina. They have one child," he added.
