On the morning of 4th May 2022 in Cáchira (Colombia), K.B.D. was murdered.
The teenager had left home at 5am. She then had to walk 40 minutes to get to the road where the bus picks her up to take her to school. However, she was not seen alive again.
55 year old A.C., a Venezuelan national, had set his sights on the child. He raped the youngster, stabbed her to death + threw her body into the Cachira River. When her body was found, she had stab wounds to her chest + chin.
'A' was later found by the roadside, agonising - locals had lynched the evil bastard + attacked him with a machete. He soon died from his wounds. Before he was lynched, he admitted to the rape + murder of the girl.
In her last moments, 'K' had been brave + quick thinking. She had realised that she was being followed + snapped a photo of 'A' on her phone, then sent it to family.
